Nonetheless, the party has recently indicated it has no plans to back down from this issue. The RNC recently approved a “Resolution on Republican Pro-Life Strategy” that urges GOP candidates to speak openly about their firm opposition to abortion — and many lawmakers are already taking that to heart."
