"Just after securing his second term as Wisconsin’s governor (what the hell, Wisconsin?) Walker proposed a $300 million deduction from the state’s budget for universities. Ironically, at the same time, in a move echoing Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder’s Red Wings arena hijinks, Walker also proposed spending $500 million on a pro-basketball, NBA arena. As a result, people became fed up with the flunky governor and began demonstrating against his asinine proposals, which led him to speaking with Kelly about the recent protests that had begun assembling outside Walker’s parent’s home."
